What does the Jewellery Restoration Process entail?
Each restoration process is unique to the piece at hand. Depending on what needs to be done for revitalization, your restoration process can include repairs, prong retipping, gemstone replacements, professional cleaning and polishing, and more. Based upon your needs, we can also redesign the piece and add on special engravings, if need be.
How long does the jewellery restoration process take?
The timeframe for restoration varies depending on the complexity of the work required. Minor repairs and cleaning may take a few weeks, while more extensive restoration projects can take even longer. For a better estimation of time frames, it’s best to get in contact with us or come visit us at the Studio.
Will my jewellery look different after restoration?
The goal of our restoration services is to return your jewellery to its original state as when you first got it. However, the nature of the restoration may necessitate some changes. For instance, in cases of severe damage or when pieces are missing, we may need to add new material. Rest assured, any changes will be discussed with you before proceeding.
