The jewellery redesign process begins with an in person or virtual consultation with the Studio Jewellers team. We will take the time to discuss your original piece, what you like and dislike about it, and what your desired vision is.

From here we will come up with a few ideas and sketches about what we can redesign the piece into. It’s important to keep in mind that with any redesign job we may need to source additional materials to change the piece into its final form – this includes additional metals or gemstones.

Once we’ve decided upon a suitable design, a wax model will be created for your final review. With the go ahead given, we will then take your old piece and craft it into its new form.

Depending on the complexity of the job and if we have to source new materials, a redesign job can take a couple of weeks or even longer. To get an accurate idea of the lead time, it’s best to get in touch with our team for a complimentary consultation.
